  • Robyn is available for walk ins 12pm- 5pm Tuesday-Saturday. If walk in hours don’t work for you, Robyn is available for standard appointments 11am - 6pm and young children’s (12 and under) at 10 am only Tuesday -Saturday.

  • Yes! I offer ear lobe piercings to children 1-12 years old by appointment only at 10am Tuesday-Saturday.

Children 13 and older must still have a parent/guardian with them, but they may walk in during normal business hours.

Child and parent must both have identification.

  • Yes. Government issued identification is required for all piercings (not jewelry changes). Appropriate ID for adults includes state ID card, drivers license, passport, passport card, or tribal ID.

Children’s identification includes all above as well as a school ID with a birth certificate.

  • No. Only a parent/guardian is allowed to bring in a minor for a piercing, please have proof of guardianship ready.

  • Please eat 1-4 hours before your appointment time, stay hydrated, and get good sleep the night before. If you tend to feel light headed after a piercing, you can bring a bit of candy or juice to help relieve those feelings.

  • No. Numbing creams are not made for piercing and they don’t numb deeply enough to be effective with piercings. Numbing cream can also constrict tissue, leaving a crooked piercing when the tissue has relaxed after the piercing. Because of  the high risk and low reward, no numbing is allowed.

  • Avoid makeup in the area of the piercing. Wear clothing that does not impede the area we’ll be piercing (ex. No body suits or high waisted pants for a navel piercing). Bring a hair tie/ tie up your hair in a way that is easily adjusted or flat to the head like braids.

  • Your piercing should be gently cleaned with only Sterile Saline Wound Wash (can be purchase at the pharmacy or grocery store next to bandaids) or plain water.

It’s important to not make your own salt water solution.

Clean twice daily by melting away crusty material(with fully saturated Qtip) or flush piercing throughly. The goal is to be as gentle as possible and melt the debris away without pulling it off. Dry the area after cleaning and showers. Keep wet hair off of your piercing and be mindful when changing clothes or brushing hair, avoid makeup/hair products/skincare on your piercings . Do not sleep on your piercing.

  • There is a huge range in human anatomy and not every anatomy can support every piercing. If your anatomy cannot support a piercing it can migrate out of the body (rejection) or cause near constant piercing bumps/ irritation through the life of the piercing. When reviewing if you’re good a candidate for a piercing, we’ll take a look at the piercing tissue as well as the surrounding tissue. We’ll be looking to see if you have enough tissue of the correct shape to support the piercing as well as if the anatomy surrounding the piercing has enough space to accommodate the jewelry properly for healing. Robyn wants to pierce you and won’t tell you “no” unless they have real reason to believe you may not be able to heal the piercing.
